Just got back from the Hemet Farmers Market. This is the first time that I went, and it was pretty cool. I came back with a loaf of freshly baked whole wheat bread and a loaf of squaw bread. I also found some local honey made with avocado blossoms!
When I got home, I cut a couple of slices of the whole wheat bread and toasted it. Added some almond butter and the avocado blossom honey, wow, what a sandwich. Amazing what some fresh bread can do to a sandwich!
Later today, I will be making a turkey sandwich using the squaw bread.
